About This DesignThe Tarpon is a legendary gamefish known for long hard fights and acrobatic leaps! This design features the Skyway Bridge which is a favorite spot for visiting Tarpon to feed and seek shelter during thier annual migration. Many an angler has been bested by a big Silver King with the Skyway bridge as his backdrop. Tarpon are a worthy adversary and are not landed easily. One of the many subtle techniques of coaxing this monster gamefish to the boat is to lean forward and lower your rod when they jump, creating some slack in the line, hence the expression "Always Bow to the King" The Silver King.
